The Oconee Chamber Fall Festival started in 1974 and today is known as a premiere Arts & Crafts festival. It is held annually on the 3rd Saturday in October in Historic Downtown Watkinsville.

Oconee Painting is a family-owned business started by Wes Wilson. Him and his wife have owned paint stores and been in the paint industry since 1998.
