The Ambassador Program consists of a group of dedicated diverse volunteers from the Chamber partnership who donate their time to assist the chamber in various activities.
Being selected as an ambassador is a position of great esteem and a strong sense of pride in being hand selected to represent the chamber. Each Ambassador is asked to serve a term of one calendar year, from January to December each year.
Mission
The primary mission of the Oconee Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program is to welcome, connect, and engage prospective partners in addition to new and existing partners to create a valuable chamber experience for all partners. This group of hand-selected individuals helps maintain contact with other chamber partners while promoting the chamber and its purpose.
Ambassadors are required to attend chamber functions and serve to greet and engage partners at chamber events such as Business After Hours, Coffees, Ribbon Cuttings, and other Chamber events (i.e. Expo’s, luncheons, etc.).
Vision
The Ambassadors will achieve the mission statement by attending chamber functions and serving Oconee Chamber partners. The Ambassador Committee shall consistently serve as direct representatives of the chamber, and should be familiar with all chamber policies and procedures regarding partnership information.
The Ambassador Committee shall act as an ongoing partnership development committee whose goal is to consistently communicate with new, existing and potential chamber partners.
We are looking to gain a group of strong individuals that has a heart for the Oconee Chamber and the community. We always strive to provide a comfortable and exciting place for businesses in the community to come together to grow themselves and their business.
Our Ambassadors play an important role in filling in gaps and connecting with our new and existing partners.
